Be the change you wish to see in the world,” Mahatma Gandhi powerfully said. With this inspiration, the PB Philanthropy - Project Bangladesh's social concern - was founded in the summer of 2005 with the belief that patriotism is actively taking steps to make a difference.

We embarked with a goal to unite the youth of Bangladesh to initiate change. With this the PB Philanthropy launched the red and green Amra Bangladesh wristbands. All proceeds from the sale of wristbands were donated to causes that continue to affect our country. The wristbands unite us; it gives a chance to be proud of our nationality and remind us to be active citizens in our communities, and in large, our country. They symbolize strength in unity and the power of raising awareness.

PB Philanthropy believes that it is crucial for us to come together in order to bring about positive changes. We have made several contributions to and work closely with highly recognized organizations including the Acid Survivors Foundation and the International Center for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B). With Mahatma Gandhi's inspirational words, the PB Philanthropy continues to be a platform for Bangladeshis worldwide to get involved and give back.
