The PB Philanthropy's first project was to create a wristband in red and green, the colors of the Bangladeshi flag. Like the Livestrong band, the red and green bands were sold to raise awareness and funds for three causes that need immediate attention in Bangladesh. They include the eradication of acid violence, adoption and support for orphanages, and relief for flood victims.

Project Bangladesh believes in the power of unity and calls for all Bangladeshis to unite by working to address various social issues. Along with raising awareness, the Amra Bangladesh wristbands gave all Bangladeshis a chance to be proud of their nationality and to work together to help their fellow citizens in need. The wristbands symbolize what Bangladesh is truly about, that by working together as citizens of the same nation, we will be able to make changes.

The writing on the band is "Amra Bangladesh" and it is symbolic of Project Bangladesh's entire campaing. Translated from Bangla, it means, "We Are Bangladesh." In a few months, over 14 000 Amra Bangladesh bands were sold around the world, and all the proceeds were donated to organizations that Project Bangladesh is working with. They include, the Acid Survivors Foundation, the leading organization in rehabilitating acid violence survivors, flood relief, and orphanages including Mother Teresa's orphanages.

The PB Philanthropy is a platform for the youth to work together for the betterment of Bangladesh. Wear your red and green to show you care and that you have joined the project!
