The whole charity wristband craze hits Bangladesh. From the UK and Europe, through America and Africa, the wristband conquest now has wrapped itself around Bangladesh.

These wristbands are meant to be for charity and each one bought contributes to various charities. The two “brands” available are ‘Amra Bangladesh’ from Prothom Bangladesh, and the Livestrong bands. The ‘Amra Bangladesh’ bands are in red and green and the livestrong bands come in several different colours such as yellow, black, white, blue etc.

The marketing for these was obviously well planned, as what started with a few as charity has now turned into a fashion trend for the teens and young adults, but then again the more sold means more goes to charity.
